Gyazo Shuriken is Now Available on iPhone for Free

Gyazo Shuriken is the fastest way to share images with coworkers and friends from your iPhone.

Shuriken gets its speed from the same technology as Gyazo.com so you can share as fast as images can be uploaded.  The link to your image is copied to the clipboard automatically and it is ready to paste into any app.

You can even use Shuriken to share images one step faster with people near you by tapping icons that represent their phones and computers.

The app automatically recognizes and displays nearby devices using location data (GPS), saving you an extra step.

You can also share images with multiple devices at the same time by simply directing everyone to g.gyazo.com, which is perfect for large events or first impressions where you dont have everyone's email address or contact info.

Along with sharing images quickly, Shuriken can sync images and screenshots with gyazo on the web so you can access one history everywhere you go.

We think it's the fastest way to share images from your iPhone and we hope you like it. Feel free to leave us a comment here, or on our facebook page to let us know what we can do to make it better.

Download Gyazo Shuriken on App Store now!

  • Capture and share images instantly. Paste links to txt, IM, email, or social networks.

Gyazo for Mac Updated With Retina Display Support

Gyazo for Mac has been updated to support high resolution retina displays.

In order to accomodate the double pixel density, screenshots taken on retina displays will be automatically resized before being uploaded to the server to display at half the size (normal 72DPI instead of retina's 144 DPI).

This means unfortunately your images will not be as beautiful as retina quality but they will be the right size instead of showing up twice as large. We discussed it and found this is the most desirable solution for now and by doing this we can avoid long wait times for uploading and downloading.

Feel free to leave us a comment here to let us know how we're doing.

Gyazo 1.0.2 is now available on Mac App Store

Thanks for using Gyazo,

Introducing Gyazo Pro : Image History and More

Thank you for using Gyazo!
We are very excited for Gyazo as we celebrate its 3rd anniversary this autumn.
The number of uploaded images have kept growing steadily during these three years, and we have been working hard to reinforce and tune the servers to meet demand.

Today, we are announcing the launch of Gyazo Pro which has many great new features. Gyazo Pro improves Gyazo from a simple uploading tool to also include a private online gallery and more.

Nearly all of the new features are what many of you had specifically requested with your feedback and it is very exciting for us to be able to deliver exactly what you ask for.

To Gyazo fans! -- we'd like you to start using Gyazo Pro today.
Thank you for your support these three years and we hope you'll love our new product.

How do I get started with Gyazo Pro?

After you upload an image with Gyazo as usual, please click on the "See My Images" button above the uploaded image. This will allow you to activate the upload history function. This makes it so that all future uploaded images will appear in your Gyazo Pro image gallery for sorting and reviewing.

Thanks again and enjoy!

All New Look. Gyazo 1.0 Is Here

Release Notes:

- Gyazo wears a cool new icon online and on your desktop!
The new icon changes your desktop appearance and looks very professional.

- The directory of the user id file has been changed from the exe directory to the user's app library directory in the operating system.

Here are examples of the new paths for the major operating systems:

Windows XP
Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Gyazo\
Windows Vista/7
Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Gyazo\

Windows User Note : if you use Gyazowin.exe outside of C:\Program Files\Gyazo, Gyazo will not detect id.txt automatically. In that case, please copy old id.txt (that exists in the same directory of gyazowin.exe) to the new path.

Mac OS X
/Users/<username>/Library/Gyazo/

- Now the id (user id) is given from the server instead of generating it on the client side. When gyazo uploads an image with empty id information, new id data is included in the "X-Gyazo-Id" header in the http response.

- User-Agent will now be posted
- Remove ColorProfile information from captured PNG file (Mac Version Only)
- Fixed several bugs
